Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Administration, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to human resources.
The ideal candidate is autonomous, resourceful and responsible. Versatile, a team player and a self-starter.Your role
- Perform various tasks related to Human Resources;
- Act as a resource person for employees and managers for any questions, requests or information required;
- Ensure the accuracy of tasks performed by the Human Resources Officer such as :
- CCQ hiring and layoffs;
- Ensure the opening and follow-up of physical and/or digital files for all employees;
- Update weekly the list of employees on worksites;
- Ensure that training files are kept up to date, including the declaration of training activities;
- Keep track of birthdays in the calendar and on Facebook;
- Various tables such as: apprenticeship, DOB, time tracking and payroll;
- Organize and coordinate recruiting, posting, resume analysis, scheduling interviews, reference checks, etc;
- Represent the company at trade schools, CEGEPs, universities and job fairs;
- Prepare and update various letters and employment contracts;
- Update job descriptions and requirements;
- Participate in welcoming new employees;
- Ensure that employee files are complete and that all documentation is included;
- Update employee files, including the various certificates required for employment;
- Participate in the organization of events (Christmas Party, Summer, etc.);
- Work on the development of human resources policies and procedures, and establish a human resources manual available to all employees and managers;
- Keep employee handbook and organizational chart up to date;
- Maintain and process all group insurance claims;
- Maintain the pay equity program in compliance with the Act;
- Identify training needs and seek out organizations and/or trainers for the required ongoing site training, engineers and first aiders;
- Prepare and update training programs;
- Prepare and maintain prevention programs for all worksites, including the worker commitment list, and update material safety data sheets;
- Handle work accident files, i.e., follow up with APCHQ and CNESST, coordinate temporary assignment files in collaboration with managers.
Requirements
Prerequisites :
- Undergraduate degree in human resources management;
- Member of the Ordre des CRHA OBLIGATORY;
- Minimum 6 to 9 years' experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of Office suite software;
- Organized and proactive;
- Ability to work in a team, versatility, resourcefulness and sense of responsibility;
