Under the supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to invoicing/project costs (receivables and projects).

The ideal candidate is autonomous, resourceful and responsible. Versatile, a team player and a self-starter.

Your role

  • Apply for RBQ permits
  • Invoice work orders for contracts and services;
  • Prepare invoices for commercial contracts, extras and endorsements, where applicable;
  • Make receipts, Square, direct payments and cheques;
  • Follow-up and update the current Jobs file;
  • Send out and follow up statements of accounts receivable;
  • Follow-up on monthly progressive invoicing tables;
  • Ensure preparation of documents (releases and statutory declarations);
  • Verify commercial project analysis files prepared by project managers to validate amounts to be invoiced;
  • Prepare bank deposits;
  • Interco billing;
  • Prepare project start and end documents;
  • Perform title searches and prepare contract terminations;
  • Request CNESST and CCQ compliance certificates;

Requirements

  • DEP in accounting and/or relevant experience;
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and basic financial principles;
  • Ability to work in a team, versatility, resourcefulness and sense of responsibility;
  • Organized and proactive;
  • Good knowledge of Office software;
  • Knowledge of Maestro software would be an asset.
