Your role
Under the supervision of the Service and Maintenance Manager, the Service Dispatcher's main responsibilities will be to ensure effective coordination of technical interventions, while providing quality customer service that responds quickly and appropriately to customer needs.
Main responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and ensure courteous and professional customer service;
- Schedule appointments in plumbers' calendars according to priorities and availability;
- Conduct parts searches for customers, as needed;
- Confirm appointments by phone or e-mail 48 hours in advance;
- Verify receipt of required materials before work begins;
- Make courtesy calls after work to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Ensure that all information entered in appointments is clear, complete and accurate, particularly with regard to the material required (on site or to be retrieved), the nature of the work to be carried out, access to the site, or any other information relevant to the plumbers;
- Follow up on customer purchase orders (POs);
- Collect and follow up on reports drawn up by the plumbers;
- Plan recurring maintenance and ensure rigorous follow-up.
Requirements
- Pertinent experience in customer service;
- Proficiency in Progression Live software (an asset);
- Knowledge of Maestro software (an asset);
- Experience in the plumbing industry or in a related sector (a considerable asset);
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
