Your role

Under the supervision of the Logistics and Procurement Director, the incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations and building maintenance activities. They supervise, motivate, and develop their team to ensure efficient work organization and sound priority management.

Their responsibilities include receiving, handling, preparing, and shipping orders, as well as planning and coordinating prefabrication activities. They oversee tool management while providing rigorous and motivational leadership in occupational health and safety. She optimizes physical and computerized inventories to ensure the right balance between material availability and stock levels, and ensures the maintenance of the building.

Main responsibilities

  • Supervise, develop, and manage the warehouse team;
  • Manage inventory: receiving, classifying, optimizing space, and conducting annual inventory;
  • Supply materials according to the purchasing strategy and prepare those intended for construction sites;
  • Manage returns: sorting, coding, communicating with suppliers, and organizing returns;
  • Maintain and improve the tool management system, as well as its maintenance and repairs;
  • Contribute to the planning and optimization of material assembly;
  • Ensure building maintenance and compliance with applicable standards;
  • Establish, apply, and improve health and safety practices;
  • Promote a harmonious and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of computer tools;
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of personnel management experience;
  • Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and active participation in an OHS committee;
  • Good physical condition, able to lift loads and remain standing.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
