Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Estimation Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to estimators, coordinators, and directors across the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and follow up on equipment pricing requests with suppliers;
- Assist estimators in tracking changes to project plans;
- Draft and prepare question forms and bid closing letters with the estimator;
- Prepare public tender documents on platforms such as BSDQ’s TES and SEAO;
- Maintain records of projects under bid, awarded, and not awarded;
- Open new bid files;
- Keep submission plans and addenda up to date;
- Assist estimators with quantity take-offs and plan measurements;
- Once a contract is awarded, help prepare and attend project kickoff meetings.
Requirements
- Experience as an assistant with a specialized contractor (an asset);
- Knowledge of Maestro Technologies (an asset);
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility;
- Professional-level English proficiency.
