Myral - PCL2

About the project

A team from Jenaco is currently hard at work on the plumbing and natural gas contract for the imposing Myral project in Longueuil. For the firm specializing in piping, this is undoubtedly the largest project in terms of the number of units: 1,026 spread over two 32-storey towers.

It's also a highly complex project, with a structure being erected over the Longueuil metro to support the two buildings. The first includes both condominiums and rental units. The second is devoted entirely to rental units.

Developed by Devimco Immobilier, the Myral project is under the supervision of general contractor Edyfic Construction. They have already completed a number of projects with Jenaco, including the Solar in Brossard's TOD (transit-oriented-development) district. With this new mandate, the two partners intend to strengthen their mutual trust in the success of the project, scheduled for completion in 2027.

In addition to the natural challenges of this type of project, we work with the new reality of 3-D models. It helps us to detect problems earlier, promotes better coordination and facilitates our work.
explains Mathieu Côté, foreman

The Jenaco team is led by foreman Mathieu Côté. "In addition to the natural challenges of this type of project, we work with the new reality of 3-D models. It helps us to detect problems earlier, promotes better coordination and facilitates our work." This major project also has the merit of consolidating the team spirit of the Jenaco team which has been together for five years. "It reinforces the group's synergy. Everyone is happy to be able to continue with the same team for several years."

The Myral project is the tallest residential development in Longueuil to this day. It's also unique in that it's the only one to be built above the metro station. In addition to being located in a TOD district, it also responds to a number of environmental concerns.
