The Le Nordelec project involved the transformation of one of the most imposing brick industrial buildings in North America. Located on the edge of the Lachine Canal, this huge building houses office space on the first five floors. The approach used for the Chelsea Market in New York inspired the designers of the Le Nordelec project, which includes a residential component.

In addition to transforming the top floors of the existing building, the Le Nordelec real estate project, piloted by Magil Construction, also called for the construction of a brand-new 13-storey building adjacent to the central wing, with two levels of parking. 135 condo units and a commercial level completed the first phase of this new building. Jenaco's two mandates lasted 23  months.

It required strict management and excellent planning.

"We are pleased to have been able to work with Magil Construction on this important structuring project. This type of commission was very motivating for all our employees. It required strict management and excellent planning," says Jean Turgeon, President of Jenaco. Involved in many of the largest real estate construction projects in the metropolitan area, the South Shore-based company has built a solid reputation from one mandate to the next, based on its know-how, its rigor and the quality of its services"
