In October 2024, Jenaco started the plumbing and natural gas work at the prestigious Hillsdale Golf Club.
The project, managed by general contractor Reliance Construction, includes the construction of a new world class clubhouse. The building will feature two floors, with one section allocated for administrative and logistical areas, including kitchens and reception, and the other section designated for member amenities, such as locker rooms, spa, and saunas.
Jenaco’s responsibilities include the installation and connection of plumbing pipes for all equipment, ranging from upscale locker rooms to the kitchen. The natural gas system will supply the pizza oven, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, various commercial kitchen installations, and the laundry room.
The project encompasses numerous intricate details, especially concerning architectural elements, general interior finishing, specific requirements, and rigorous standards related to commercial kitchen regulations.
“Despite these challenges, we possess the flexibility to propose more efficient solutions that align better with the client's needs.”
This is a motivating factor for the team members, in addition to maintaining the fast pace of execution set by the contractor. “Reliance is known for completing its projects slightly ahead of schedule. The preliminary work and the contractor’s acknowledgment of our expertise in using and installing piping will help achieve this goal,” said Boutin.
The Hillsdale Club, located in Mirabel, was acquired by Montréal businessman Herbert Black, who aims to develop it into a venue suitable for international competitions.
This necessitates a comprehensive modernization of the site, reducing it from 36 holes to 18 championship holes. Key features of this overhaul include the addition of a nine-hole executive model course and the development of a major teaching and training facility, along with the construction of a brand new clubhouse.
Under the supervision of Reliance Construction, this new mandate unifies the approach that has been developed over time at Jenaco in collaboration with its partners, emphasizing "a team united in the success of your projects."
