Construction of this 70,000 sq. ft. building in the Technoparc was entrusted to Groupe Montoni. The new center now offers 10 megawatts (MW) of power to customers of this North American leader, which is currently making its home in Quebec. At the same time, the American company is expanding the Quebec City data center it acquired last January.

“It's a great vote of confidence we've received from Groupe Montoni, with whom we've already completed another data center project,” says Jean Turgeon, Jenaco's founding president. “Data center projects are highly technical and demanding for our specialty, piping.”

The excitement and motivation of the team members is understandable, considering the nature of this project, which mobilized a team of eight people. The mandate ends in February 2020. The completion of this second mandate in the specialized niche of data centers has opened up new prospects for Jenaco, which specializes in building mechanics.
